HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 12646ORDINANCE NO. _1~z(.'(/~ y ~~ - AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A TEN FOOT (10') WIDE DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED ON LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK 17, MIRA VISTA ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the drainage easement measuring 10 feet in width and containing 2,531 39 square feet, located on Lots 3 and 4, Block 17, Mira Vista Addition as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 1595, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated drainage easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. Dunham Survey, Abstract No 409, situated within the southwest part of Fort Worth in Tarrant County, Texas, and embracing a portion of the tract described in the Deed to Mira Vista Development Corp as recorded in Volume 11572, Page 757, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, said easement abandonment being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows.
