AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY SITUATED BETWEEN LOTS 1
THROUGH 5 AND LOTS 20 THROUGH 24, BLOCK 90, BELMONT PARK
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH;. AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the alley right-of--way, measuring twenty (20) feet in width and two hundred-
fifty (250) feet in length, situated between Lots 1 through 5 and Lots 20 through 24, Block
90, Belmont Park Addition, as recorded in Volume 204, Page 83, Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, be and the. same is vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the underlying fee to the land in the above described vacated alley right-of-way
is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent property owner(s) as provided by law
SECTION 3.
The City Manager is authorized to execute a quitclaim deed to the vacated property
in form and substance approved by the City Attorney
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

DESCRIPTION, of a 0.115 acre tract being situated in the John True Survey, Abstract
No. 1894, being located in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas; said tract
being part of a 20.00 foot alley as shown on plat for Belmont Park Addition, an
addition to the City of Fort Worth. Tarrant County, Texas as recorded in Volume 204,
Page 83, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas;. said 0.115 acre tract of land being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING, at a point for corner being located in the northwesterly right-of-way line
of West Long Avenue (a 110 foot wide right-of-way at this point); said point also
being the northeast corner of Lot 24, Block 90 of said Belmont Park Addition,
THENCE, North 45 degrees, 52 minutes, 00 seconds West, a distance of 250.00 feet to a
point for corner; said point being located in the northeasterly corner of Lot 19,
Block 90, of said Belmont Park Addition,
THENCE, North 44 degrees, 08 minutes, 00 seconds East, a distance of 20.00 feet to a
point for corner; said point being the southerly corner Lot 6, Block 90, of said
Belmont Park Addition;
THENCE, South 45 degrees, 52 minutes, 00 seconds East, a distance of 250 00 feet to a
point for corner; said point being located in the northwesterly right-of-way of said
West Long Avenue; said point also being the southerly corner of Lot 1, Block 90, of
said Belmont Park Addition,
THENCE, South 44 degrees, 08 minutes, 00 seconds West, along the northwesterly
right-of-way line of said West Long Avenue, a distance of 20.00 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING
CONTAINING, 5,000 square feet or 0115 acres of land, more or less.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating a 5,000 square
foot section of right-of-way dedicated for an alley, measuring twenty (20) feet in width and two-
hundred fifty (250) feet in length, situated between Lots 1 thru 5 and Lots 20 thru 24, Block 90,
Belmont Park Addition, as recorded in Volume 204, Page 83, P R T C T
DISCUSSION
Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Inc ,consultant, representing Manuel Lopez and Herman
A Ruthardt, owners of all adjacent property, requests that the City vacate the above described
alley right-of-way Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request A satisfactory replat has been submitted This request was
recommended for approval by the City Plan Commission on May 29, 1996
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a six hundred twenty-five
dollar (5625 00) fee satisfies the interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request
