HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 11909ORDINANCE NO. 11 CIO AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A SIXTEEN (16) FOOT WIDE BY ONE HUNDRED TWENTY AND FORTY-SEVEN TENTHS (120.47) FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE CHAMBERLIN ARLINGTON ADDITION OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the utility easement measuring sixteen (16 ) feet in width and one hundred twenty and forty-seven tenths (120.47) feet in length, located on Block 53-R, Lot 2-R, Chamberlin Arlington Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-184, Page 87, P.R.T.C.T., and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.
