AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING FOUR UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE TEXAS AND PACIFIC RAILWAY ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the four utility easements located within Lots 1 and 2, Block 96R, Texas and Pacific Railway Companies Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-198, Page 69, P.R.T.C.T.,and referenced as follows: 1) a 60' wide easement (formerly Presidio Street) from the east right-of-way line of Pine Street to the west right-of-way line of Lot 1R, Block 1R, Great Western Food Addition (Volume 388/166, Page 53, P.R.T.C.T.), 2) a 60' wide easement (formerly Virginia Avenue) from the north right-of-way line of E1 Paso Street to the existing south right-of-way of Virginia Avenue (172.5' south of East Lancaster Avenue) 3) an east west easement (former alley) running from the west property line of Virginia Avenue to the east property line of Pine Street and located one half block south of East Lancaster Avenue and (4) an east west easement (former alley) located between the east right-of-way line of Pine Street to the west property line of Lot 1R, Block 1R, Great Western Foods Addition and located one half block north of E1 Paso Street, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.
