HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 12043ORDINANCE NO. U r~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED WITHIN THE F. CUELLA SURVEY, ABSTRACT N0. 267, AND THE JOSE CHIRINO SURVEY, ABSTRACT N0. 265, OF' THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT Keller Haslet Road from the west right-of-way line of Eagle Parkway South for approximately 1,910.67 feet to a point within three hundred and eighty feet of the south right-of-way line of State Highway 170, located within the F. Cuella Survey, Abstract 267, as recorded in Volume 9381, Page 66, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County and also as located within the Jose Chirino Survey as recorded in Volume 9895, Page 1605, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECTION Z. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. ABSTRACT NO 267, AND THE J CHIRINO SURVEY, .ABSTRACT NO 265 (V92-24) RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating Keller Haslet Road from the west right-of-way line of Eagle Parkway South for approximately 1,910 67 feet to a point within three hundred and eighty feet of `the south right-of-way line of State Highway 170 as approved by the City Plan Commission on October 28, 1992 DISCUSSION Hillwood Development Corporation, owner of all adjacent property, has requested that the City vacate the above described street right-of-way as further delineated on the attached map and described in the attached field notes..
