AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, TWO PUBLIC OPEN
SPACE EASEMENTS AND TWO UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN
THE PARK GLEN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT the north 105' of Teal Drive north of Crystal Creek Circle and two 20' x 20'
public open space easements located at the northeast corner of Teal Drive and Crystal
Creek Circle and the northwest corner of Teal Drive and Sabine Street, a 10' x 105' long
utility easement located between Lots 10 and 11, Block 119, and a 10' x 10' long utility
easement located in Lot 11, Block 119, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same are vacated,
abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of-way, ,public
open space easements and utility easements are hereby released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

Abstract No 1275, City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas and being a portion
of Teal Drive in Phase XII, Section 1, Park Glen Additian as recorded in Cabinet
A, Slide No 2138, County Records, Tarrant County, Texas and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows
BEGINNING at the southwest corner of Lot 12, Block 119, said Park
Glen Addition, said point being the intersection of the northerly
right-of-way line of Crystal Creek Circle with the easterly right-
of-way line of Teal Drive,
THENCE S77°24'00"W, 60 00 feet along the northerly right-of-way line
of said Crystal Creek Circle to its intersection with the westerly
right-of-way line of Teal Drive,
THENCE N12°36'00"W, 105 00 feet along the westerly line of said Teal

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating the north 105'
of Teal Drive north of Crystal Creek Circle and two 20' x 20' Public Open Space Easements
located at the northeast corner of Teal Drive and Crystal Creek Circle and the northwest corner
of Teal Drive and Sabine Street, and a 10' x 105' long utility easement located between lots 10
and 1 1, block 1 19, all located within the Park Glen Addition, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide
2138, P R T C T and as approved by the City Plan Commission on May 24, 1995
DISCUSSION
The Park Glen neighborhood and Hewland Development Corporation have agreed to vacate this
portion of Teal Drive to eliminate as a through collector between North Beach Street and
Basswood Boulevard The portion of Teal Wood Drive with the associated Public Open Space and
Utility Easements is identified on the attached maps and further delineated in the attached
exhibits Reviewing City departments and .reviewing public utility companies have raised no
objection to this request A satisfactory replat has been submitted
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT NUMBER 4
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a S 1 00 fee satisfies the interest
of the City of Fort Worth in this request
