AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A SEVEN AND FIFTY-ONE TENTHS (7 51) FOOT WIDE
BY TWO HUNDRED SIXTEEN AND ONE-HALF TENTHS (216 05) FOOT
LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE PARK GLEN
ADDITION, PHASE VI, OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT the utility easement measuring seven and fifty-one tenths (7 51) feet in width
and two hundred sixteen and one-half tenths (216 05) feet in length, located on Block 69,
Lots 1 R, 2R, and 3R, Park Glen Addition, Phase VI, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 2116,
Tarrant County Plat Records, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference by and the same is vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

Glen Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth as recorded in Cabinet A,
Slide 2116, Tarrant County Plat Records, said strip being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of said Lot 1R, Block 69, Phase
VI, Park Glen Addition;
THENCE S09.31'S9"W, 7 51 feet along the easterly line of said Lot
1R;

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council approve the attached ordinance vacating a utility
easement measuring seven and fifty-one tenths (7 51) feet in width and two hundred sixteen and
one-half tenths (216 05) feet in length, located on Block 69, Lots 1 R, 2R and 3R, Park Glen
Addition Phase VI, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 21 16, Tarrant County Plat Records
DISCUSSION
Carter & Burgess, Inc ,acting on behalf of Hillwood/Park Glen LTD , owners of the subject
property, has requested that the above identified utility easement be vacated to facilitate the
relocation of said easement on a replat of the property The subject easement does not contain
any utility facilities Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objection to this request A satisfactory replat has been submitted which includes new easement
dedications for future utilities
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT NUMBER 4
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request
