AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A TWO AND ONE-HALF (2.5) FOOT WIDE BY ONE
HUNDRED EIGHT AND TWENTY-FIVE ONE HUNDREDTHS (108 25)
FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE STONE
HOLLOW PHASE I ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT the utility easement measuring two artd one-half (2 5) feet wide by one
hundred eight and twenty-five one hundredths (108 25) feet in length, containing two
hundred seventy-one (271) square feet, located on Block C, Lot 37, Stone Hollow Phase
I, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 2072, P R.T C T ,and as more specifically described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is
vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage, and it is so ordained

UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION
BEING a tract or parcel of land situated in the City of Forf Worth, Tarrant County, Texas,
and being part of the William G Matthews Survey, Abstract Number 1052; and being part
of that tract of land conveyed to STONE HOLLOW JOINT VENTURE by Deed recorded in
the Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, Index No 931129, and being part of Lot 37,
Block C of Stone Hollow -Phase I, an addition to the City of Fort Worth recorded in
Cabinet A, Slide 2072, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas; and being more particularly
described as follows:
COMMENCING at a 1 /2 inch iron rod found with yellow cap stamped "USA INC RPLS
4023" in the North line of Boulder Park Drive (50 foot wide Right-of-Way), said iron rod also
being the Southwest corner of Lot 37, Block C of said Stone Hollow -Phase I,
THENCE South 66°53'00" East along the North line of said Boulder Park Drive, a distance of
5 15 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
THENCE North 09°02'35" East parallel to and 5.00 feet perpendicular distance from the
West line of Lot 37, a distance of 108.25 feet to a point for corner in the South line of Lot
32, Block C of said Stone Hollow -Phase I,

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating a utility easement
measuring two and one-half (2 5) feet wide by one hundred eight and twenty-five one
hundredths (108 25) feet in length, containing two hundred seventy-one (271) square feet,
located on Block C, Lot 37, Stone Hollow Phase I, as recorded en Cabinet A, Slide 2072,
PRTCT
DISCUSSION
Ray Santillan of Unzicker, Schnurbusch, & Associates, on behalf of FW-SH, Ltd ,owner of the
subject property, has requested that the above described utility easement be vacated in order to
facilitate the construction of a building on the property The easement contains na existing utility
facilities Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections
to this request

FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request
