ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE VACATING,a ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING AN ACCESS EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE
EASTCHASE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the 26-foot wide emergency access easement generally
located between Lot 1 and the remainder of Lot 2, Block 2 and Lot
2R and remainder of Lot 2, Block 2, Eastchase Addition, as recorded
in Volume 388-208, Page 36, and approved by the City Plan
Commission on May 25, 1994, and as more specifically described in
Exhibit A attached hereto be and. the same is vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
emergency access easement is hereby released and shall revert to
the adjacent owner as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that
easements are retained for any and all existing and prospective
utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage; and it is so

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 26-foot wide
emergency access easement generally located between Lot 1 and the remainder of Lot 2, Block
2 and Lot 2R and remainder of Lot 2., Block 2, Eastchase Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-
208, Page 36, and approved by the City Plan Commission on May 25, 1994
DISCUSSION
Mr Gordon Swift, consultant, representing the estate of the owner of the remainder of Lot 2,
Block 2, Eastchase Addltlon, with consent of all adjacent property owners, has requested that
the City vacate a 26-foot wide emergency access easement, as described above, and further
delineated on the attached map This request is being made in order to replat the remainder of
Lot 2 into two building Lots, so that the land can be developed Reviewing City departments and
private utility companies have raised no objections to this request A satisfactory replat has been
submitted
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT #4
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request
