ORDINANCE NO. ~~1~!U
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENTS
LOCATED WITHIN THE QUAIL RIDGE ESTATE ADDITION IN THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE
IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the a portion of the dedicated cul-de-sac for Meadowside
Road and associated utility easements, as recorded in Volume 388-
218, page 28, and Cabinet A, Slide 1452, P.R.T.C.T., and approved
by the City Plan Commission on June 29, 1994, and as more
specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto, be and the
same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated excess
right-of-way and associated utility easements is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a portion of the
dedicated cul-de-sac for Meadowside Road and associated utility easements, approved by the
City Plan Commission on June 29, 1994
DISCUSSION ~
Ron Norman, developer of the subject property and owner of all adjacent property, has requested
this vacation which was dedicated for the provision of a cul-de-sac and associated utility
easements (attached map and field notes) for the purpose of extending Meadowside Drive
northerly to connect with Dutch Branch Road The subject property is being replatted to create
additional residential lots from one large lot which had been dedicated for development as a
church property Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request A satisfactory replat has been submitted
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT #3
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request, since this is the original land-owner who
provided the dedicated right-of-way
