ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING :N SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the ten (10 ) foot wide by one hundred two ( 102 ) foot long utility easement located between Lot 24 and Lot 25, Block 13, Stonegate Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-196, Pages 83 and 84, P.R.T.C.T., and as more specifically described in attached Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. COMMiSStON MEETING ORDINANCE Kt1nBER SECTOR/DISTRICT v~ 9 3 2 1 City of Fort Worth, Texas ll~ayor and Council Communication TE REFEREN E NUMBER LOG NAME PAGE 06/22/93 **PZ-1700 06GATE 1 of 1 SUBJECT VACATION OF UTILITY EASEMENT: STONEGATE ADDITION, BLOCK 13, LOTS 24 & 25 TOREY PINES DRIVE AT OAK HILL CIRCLE V-93-21 RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10 ft. wide by 102 ft. long utility easement located between Lots 24 and 25, Block 13, Stonegate Addition. DISCUSSION: Mr. Jimmy Walker, owner of the property, has requested that the City Council vacate this utility easement in order that the two lots can be re-platted into one lot. T.he easement was acquired by dedication and daes not contain any utility facilities. Reviewing City Departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to this request. This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9. FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION: The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar fee satisfies the interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request.
