AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING PORTIONS OF FOUR UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE MIRA VISTA ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the four (4) utility easements as located on Lots 19 and 20, Block 12, and Lot 7, Block 11A, on Lot 1, Block 12, on Lots 2, 10 and 11, Block 12, and on Lot 21, Block 9, Mira Vista Addition, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 1046, P.R.T.C.T, and as more specifically described in attached Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the same are vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. P , owner of all subject property, has requested that the City vacate portions of utility easements as described in the attached field notes and further delineated on the attached maps. These utility easements were initially established to provide for the extension of sewer and water services to the development. Since establishment of these utility easements, it has been determined that these portions of the utility easements are not necessary for the development. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to this request This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT NO 3 FISCAL INFORMATION /CERTIFICATION The Land Agent for The City of Fort Worth has determined that a $1 00 fee satisfies the interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request!
