ORDINANCE N0. ~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE
HIGHLAND HOME ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the ten (10) foot wide by approximately one hundred
sixty-seven (167) foot long utility easement located between
Lots A, B and C and Lot F, Block 8, Highland Home Addition, as
recorded in Volume 388/x, Page 547, P.R.T.C.T., and as more spe-
cifically described in attached Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

PORTION OF EASEMENT TO BE VACATED

Being a portion of a 10 foot wide utility easement dedicated on the
plat of LOTS A, B, and F, a SUBDIVISION OF LOTS 1-4, BLOCK 8,
HIGHLAND HOMES ADDITION, as recorded in Plat Volume 388/x, Page
547, County Records, Tarrant County, Texas, said easement being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said LOT F, being a point in
the southerly right-of-way line of Chapel Road;
THENCE N83°10'23"W, 5.04 feet along said right-of-way line;
THENCE SOUTH, 112.10 feet leaving said right-of-way line to the
south line of said LOT B;
THENCE EAST, 5.00 feet to the southeast corner of said LOT B;
THENCE SOUTH, 56.00 feet along the line common to LOTS C and F to
the southwest corner of said LOT F;
THENCE EAST, 5.00 feet along the south line of LOT F;
THENCE NORTH, 166.90 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of
said Chapel Road;
THENCE N83°10'23"W, 5.04 feet along said right-of-way line to the
POINT OF BEGINNING, and containing 1395 square feet of land, more
or less.
